When a picture says it all.

Dyeing Eggs

The girls (and I) had a great time coloring eggs. They were both thrilled with the fact that the egg went in white and came out a color. Except for the red, the colors were very pretty. We have not had much luck with the red the last couple years - always comes out speckly, the dye doesn't dissolve.

Kiki is going to be the mad scientist - she continued playing in the dye mixing the colors even after the eggs were done. She was very observant in noticing that the colors changed as she added to them.

Kiki took over as photographer as Mi and I did the shrink wrap on the eggs. This is me in my 3-D glasses from the movie. We did a family afternoon and saw Monsters vs Aliens in 3-D. You could recycle them - but it cost an extra $3.50 for each pair to see the show - $55 afternoon at the movie! It was a lot of fun - cute movie!

Brown Easter Eggs

I am not sure why I ever thought this would be so difficult. Here is my first attempt and I would say fantastic success at Grandma Amy's brown Easter eggs. I even started them from brown eggs to see if that would make any difference. Don't think it did - but am pleased with the result. And... the yolks are lined with only the thinnest medium dark outline... hardly what we are used too. Yeah me!

Need Sleep

You know how sometimes you just want to go to sleep and somebody won't let you. Being four must be interesting work - last night she was up coughing and needing me. Tonight she just wants to sing and color and write and potty and drink and.........I need a womp'um stick.

Happy Heart Day and Other Great Pics!

We had a happy valentines day playing with the cousins and then hanging out with the babysitters. Dave and I actually went on a double date to dinner, the "not a boat" and a movie. If you haven't seen taken yet - go spend the money. Great flic! Thanks to Bob for being persistent. The pics are the girls in front of Kiki's cupid from Karen's house and a bunch of stuff that is Milana's photo shoot! Enjoy the giggle!

Let's Start With Birthday!

Mi celebrated her 7th birthday with a party at the Grand Harbor on Sunday. Four school buddies, 4 cousins, 1 sister, Aunt Jess, Grammy Pat and Poppa and mom and dad helped celebrate. They had a blast! Saturday evening we celebrated for both Mi and Grammy Pat with dinner and cake. Mi wanted a fish cake - so we went a little farther and did coral reef, add Spongebob and Patrick and you get Bikini Bottom. So we added a green island for grandma and were good to go.
